Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art that translates as follows: Tae, meaning to kick or jump, Kwon, meaning fist or hand; and Do meaning the way.
Tae Kwon Do combines the hand and foot into a lifestyle that focuses not only on self-defense but more importantly on self-control, respect, and mental and physical discipline.
Students will learn to master themselves as they set and reach goals through training. All levels are welcome and no previous experience is needed. In martial arts students are expected to not only learn but to help others learn as well.
My expectation for my students is that they will be willing to learn, respectful, and seek to have fun while growing this semester.
Prerequisite: No previous martial arts experience is required. New students are welcome anytime.
Workload: Light to Moderate (based on the individual’s ability)
