Course Description: This is a hands-on literature class that will cover several Aesop’s Fables, such as The Tortoise and the Hare, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and The Milkmaid and her Pail. We will read the stories in class and then do simple projects based on them.
Course Expectations: By the end of the semester, the students will have a book filled with crafts they have created to represent what they have learned about the books read in class. I will be using Evan-Moor’s Literature Pockets for the class.
Prerequisites: None.
Workload: Light. All assignments will be done in class, unless a child misses a day and you want to work on any missed projects at home. This will not be mandatory for the class.
