It’s an election year! What a perfect time to learn about how we choose that lucky person who gets to run our country! In this class, students will cover many topics about the American government and the election process, including the constitution, political parties, the branches of government, voting, how laws are passed, and many more.
Throughout the semester, students will be using their newly-acquired knowledge to construct a lapbook. That way, in four years, they can pull it out and give themselves a refresher course.
Course Expectations: Students will be expected to participate in the class activities and occasionally go over what they have learned at home.
Prerequisites: None.
Workload: Light.
