Analytical Grammar 2 is the second year in this program and is an easy approach to grammar covering the parts of speech, phrases, clauses, punctuation, and even diagramming. Part 2 will begin with a review of the parts of speech, including verbals, and concentrate on punctuation. Each week the class will go over a definition, practice sentences, diagramming, and then practice exercises. The students will have homework each week for reinforcement.
Although this book can be stretched to 3 years, this class is expected to complete most of it in 2 years. (This depends on the level at which the students begin the class.) Part 1 and Part 2, both full-year courses, may be taken in any order. This class will be taught at a high school level. Completion of this course will better prepare students for other high school classes and college work.
