FY ** This is a full-year course, with the expectation that students will continue for the entire year. **
In this class we will explore history through biographical portraits of great men in history like Lorenzo de’ Medici, Columbus, Galileo, Cromwell, Napoleon and many others. These stories provide great insight into the foundations of the modern world. We will cover a chapter each week and the teacher will provide handouts that will cover key people, vocabulary words and comprehension questions. We will also do a fun activity each week to go along with the lesson.
We will be using The Famous Men of Modern Times textbook by Memoria Press. Although not necessary to purchase, it is encouraged.
