Grade Range: K-2Health class helps students examine lifestyles, select goals, and make plans to achieve and maintain optimum health. Students will be encouraged to choose behaviors that promote health and nutrition (see below) and prevent illness and accidents.
Regie’s Rainbow Adventure® is a nutrition and physical activity-focused curriculum for preschool and early elementary-aged children. The program chronicles the adventures of Regie, a superhero (who looks like a piece of broccoli), who travels to several islands that correspond with the colors of the rainbow.
It is a curriculum providing activities that reinforce literacy, language development, mathematic skills, scientific understanding, creative arts, social-emotional development, approaches to learning, and physical health and development through the series of seven interactive books, The Adventures of Regie Rainbow.
Material fee is for foods, projects and activities.
