This class welcomes all students beginner through advanced who wish to dance. The class will focus on classical and lyrical technique, as well as conditioning and choreography. We will aim to learn dance by the end of each semester. In Semester One, we’ll perform a worship dance and in Semester Two we’ll perform a classical dance.
Course Expectations:
Students are expected to wear comfortable clothing within the dress code guidelines that allows them to move freely. No jeans or skirts should be worn. Students are also expected to fully participate in all movement activities.
This class will perform in the Showcase at the end of the semester.
Prerequisites: None
Workload: in-class work only, but practice outside of class is encouraged.
Teacher Provides: Music
Student Provides: Leotard with pink tights and pink soft ballet shoes. Hair must be up in a bun. A willingness to dance. (If question about fit, email me).
