The course Elementary Spanish Intermediate will take the children to the next step. They are going to practice and remember some grammar, like nouns, gender of nouns, adjectives, articles, etc. They are going to learn how to combine this grammar with all the vocabulary they have learned. They are also going to learn cardinal and ordinal numbers, more greetings, how to ask and tell the time in Spanish, all of this combined with games and projects. They are also going to learn more Mexican culture and other Hispanic cultures.
Course Expectations: The students are going to be able to understand, write and speak the basics in Spanish. They are going to be able to form, write and speak simple sentences in Spanish.
Teacher Provides: Book (Voces y Vistas), Posters in Spanish, vocabulary games in Spanish, catalogs from Scholastic in Spanish, DVDs and CDs in Spanish.
Students Provide: Book (The Complete Book of Spanish, Grades 1-3), notebook, pencil, eraser, Spanish-English Dictionary.

Instructor Background: I was born in Mexico City on July 5, 1967. I am married, and I have two girls 14 and 12 years old. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). I have lived in Michigan since March 2001. I worked as a CPA from 1987 to 1996. I have worked as a teacher since 1997, teaching different subjects and topics. I began teaching Spanish as a second language to children, teenagers and adults since 2004. I opened my Instituto Cultural Hispano, INC in 2008, teaching Spanish as a first language and second language.
