Grade Range: 6-12After a successful run with Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, Heritage Drama Club will put on another amazing performance! Heritage Drama Club is open to anyone who wants to experience putting on a drama.
THIS IS A YEARLONG CLASS and our final performance will be in May of 2015. Depending on size of the number of students that sign-up will determine the play we will do.
Students will learn about staging a show with blocking, projection, characterization, and back staging. Students will be encouraged to give all of their performance to the Lord and we will spend time praying to him before rehearsals and the show.
Course Expectations: Students are EXPECTED to be available for extra rehearsals outside of co-op especially during second semester.
EXTRA REHEARSALS WILL START TO 2 REHEARSALS PER WEEK BEGINNING IN MARCH.
They are to attend all dress rehearsals and performances. Performance times will be announced in October 2014.
Students are expected to memorize and master their character lines. All students must attend two full afternoon dress rehearsals and the performance. Time, date and place TBD. Students must provide their own costumes and contribute to finding props for the performance.

Prerequisites: Students should demonstrate a willingness to perform in front of an audience.
Workload: Moderate. Memorization of assignments is required.
