He’s got the whole world in His hands, so let’s check it out together! Come on a journey exploring God's world and its inhabitants. The geography of this huge world will be broken down into bite-sized pieces engaging students in a deeper and more enjoyable study of people, places, and cultures. Learning will be enhanced through map activities, a geography notebook, research, and a variety of enrichment projects. Students will give country reports throughout the year. Each week we will eat food originating from the country we are studying. Students are welcome to enroll throughout the year. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CLASS WILL ALTERNATE EVERY OTHER YEAR WITH TEXAS HISTORY. 

Biography:

Mrs. Piehler earned a B.S. in Education with a specialization in English from Baylor University. Following graduation she taught in Richardson I.S.D. She began teaching at RHSA Co-op in 1996 and feels blessed to continue to do so. She has been happily married for over 34 years and adored homeschooling her own four children. Mrs. Piehler loves teaching, cherishes her students, and makes learning a delightful adventure. She would be honored to have your student join her this year!
