Description:

This class will be team taught as Adrianne Hanson will join me. With her knowledge of art, science, and architecture, we will explore why each colony began in America. We will learn about the people and the places they left across the ocean and what their colony was like once established. We will study different solutions to the unique difficulties each colony faced and how they contributed to the country we would become. With a new start and very little knowledge of how to survive here, we will explore their resourcefulness. Crafts, projects, and many biographies will enrich your students understanding of America. We will take this study through the Revolutionary War and our Independence as time allows.
