Description:

This is a unit study class on famous places around the world and the history behind them. We start with Africa and cover the Great Pyramids of Giza, Abu Simbel, Suez Canal, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Victoria Falls, and Petra. We move to Asia and study the Great Wall, Taj Mahal, ST Basil's Cathedral, Dome of the Rock and Mt Everest.  We cover the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Greece and Italy. Then move across the ocean to South America and Mexico ending up in North America. A class with maps, videos, and projects in class.  Reading and worksheets to complete at home.

Biography:

Debbie has enjoyed teaching kindergarten, history and science homeschool classes for over 25 years and is excited to pass on her love of learning. She has a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement. Jim and Debbie have home schooled all of their five grown children. Now they are building into their 14 grandchildren.
