Description:

This is a study of famous men and women of strong character. We will discuss how and why they succeeded and accomplished all they did. The class will do some art work and experiments, try some inventions, do several biographies and map work. As we search through books, papers, and videos, we will see how God allowed others to shine. We cover 24+ famous inventors, artists, scientists, black history figures, political/historical figures, missionaries, and others. A list of names is available in the syllabus.

Biography:

Debbie has enjoyed teaching kindergarten, history and science homeschool classes for over 25 years and is excited to pass on her love of learning. She has a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education with a Kindergarten Endorsement. Jim and Debbie have home schooled all of their five grown children. Now they are building into their 14 grandchildren.
