An early literature class taught in the style of Five in a Row Curriculum. We will be enjoying familiar childhood favorites while studying different themes and literary techniques used by the authors and illustrators.

Biography:

Kate grew up in the Dallas area and studied visual art throughout high school and college.  She has a passion for all the arts, but especially loves literature, poetry, classical music, and the visual arts. 

She is married to Garrett and has homeschooled her two boys Max (8) and Charlie (6).  They were introduced to RHSA last year and have loved the gift of connecting to this new community of families.

Kate is looking forward to introducing all her students to the simple joy of a good book, listening to beautiful music and pursuing creative expression through the arts.  She loves talking with kids and is excited to have the privilege to work alongside so many wonderful families.

Kate and her family live in the Richardson area and are members at Mosaic Church of Richardson.
