Class Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays
We will be reviewing all key Algebra 2 concepts throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to practice newly introduced concepts in class.
Keys for daily assignments can be provided by teacher (including step-by-step instructions/solutions) if requested.
Homework will be collected at the beginning of each class and a homework grade will be given.
Quizzes will be given during class (1 per chapter).
Graded assessments conducted in class or at home (1 per chapter).
Students will have the opportunity to retake up to two assessments per semester.
Prerequisite: Algebra 1
Supplies (to be provided by student):
-Textbook: (to be provided by teacher)
- Notebook Paper
- Graph Paper
- Color Pencils (at least 3 different colors)
- Scientific Calculator (TI-83, TI-84)
Deanna has taught middle school and high school math at RHSA for the last 2 years. She attended Hardin Simmons University and graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree in elementary education with a specialization in music. She holds a current teaching certification in the state of Texas.
Deanna has been married to her husband, Christian, for 22 years and has 4 kids, all of whom have been homeschooled. The oldest 2 graduated from RHSA. Her oldest son is in the navy and her oldest daughter is attending Stephen F. Austin State University. She has been homeschooling since 2005. Before teaching at RHSA and homeschooling, she taught Elementary Music in Irving, TX 1997-1998, 4th grade in Dallas, TX from 1998-1999, Elementary Music in Garland, TX 2000-2001, Preschool in Richardson 2003-2007. She has also taught private piano lessons since 1997 and is a member of the Garland Music Teachers Association, Texas Music Teachers Association, and the Music Teachers National Association.
Class meets on Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 11:25 AM & on Thursday from 10:30 AM to 11:25 AM
