Description:

Elementary Musical Theater is for students in 1st-6th grade. Each week we will learn Theater vocabulary, play drama games, and work on vocals and choreography for a Broadway piece. We learn new skills each semester, so this class can be taken multiple times.

Supply fee will cover their music folder, supplies for games, and a costume piece.

For this class, they do not need to be a reader, and their homework will only be practicing their open house song.

This class will continue through the year, but you are not obligated to take both semesters. 

Biography:

I am married to my husband Chris, and I have 5 Sacc students, from preschool 4 to high school senior.

I am passionate about performing arts!  Theater was my home away from home throughout high school, and I went on to pursue drama in college. I have taught at Creative Arts Theater School, various homeschool co-ops, theater camps, most recently had the honor of  teaching  at Camp Broadway at LYC Theater. I also teach musical theater at Leap of Faith. I have big dreams for doing even more theater as my littles grow up a bit and in God’s perfect timing.

Using my favorite hobby and calling from the Lord at SACC brings me so much joy!
