Grade Range: NG-KChildren Around the World, The Ultimate class field trip: Introduces children to 14 different countries, exploring the languages and cultures of children across the globe without actually leaving the classroom. Along the way your students will keep journals (disguised as suitcases) of their travels, be able to show off their passports – Stamped with a seal from each country visited. We will integrate social awareness of cultures and people around the world through reading, writing, math, large and small motor activities, science experiments, art projects, dramatic play.
Course Expectations:
This is a fun way to travel the world. They will have a vague understanding of the globe, and learn a bit about people and cultures around the world.
Prerequisites: Kids, DO NOT need to be readers or writers
for this class. But, would enjoy it just as much if not more if they were reading and writing.
Workload: No Homework, But it may spark some interest that they would enjoy building on.
