Course Description: The elections are over, but learning about our great country doesnt have to be!! This class will introduce students to our countrys great landmarks. The World Trade Center, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Lincoln Memorial are just a few of the spots that will be learned about throughout the semester. Join us as we travel throughout the country!
Throughout the semester, students will be using their newly-acquired knowledge to construct a lapbook. This not only serves as a great way to show what they have been learning, but its a great memento they can keep for years.
Course Expectations: Students will be expected to participate in the class activities and occasionally go over what they have learned at home. Homework consists of going over the material and making up and missed projects at home so that the lapbook is complete.
Prerequisites: None.
Workload: Light.
Teacher Provides: Supplies to complete the activities
Student Provides: Colored pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks
