BRIGHT stands for Being Radiant In Godliness, Holiness, and Testimony.
The purpose of each Bright Lights group is to give practical training in godliness, to encourage young women to live the years of their youth fully for Christ, to provide edifying fellowship and accountability, and to be a group which will minister to others.
Bright Lights is intended to be a discipleship program for young ladies and mothers to read and discuss together. In our group meetings, we will discuss the lesson, memorize scripture, and do a related activity. For the spring semester, we plan on covering set 5 which consists of:
Set V Children of God Without Fault (Phil. 2:14)
Includes six lessons and 1 supplement CD
1. Gratefulness
2. Complaining and Murmuring
3. Gossip
4. Disrespect
5. Disputing and Arguing
6. Honoring Your Parents
Materials fee of $25 provides the Bright Lights Set Five (approx. $9) and craft/activity supplies (approx. $16). New students may want to purchase the binder as well, so please contact me if your daughter will be NEW this semester!

Expectations: Girls are expected read each lesson, memorize scripture, and participate in related activities and discussions. Please note: Bright Lights was intended to be quite conservative, as groups are encouraged to wear skirts/dresses at all meetings, sing only hymns (no contemporary music), and memorize from the King James version. I will NOT be adhering to these practices. With our group, the girls will follow the Heritage Dress Code, we will probably not do much singing :-) and the girls will be encouraged to memorize whatever version of scripture that their family prefers.
HOMEWORK: Read each lesson, memorize related scripture, and possibly some light homework, such as ministering to someone, prayer journaling etc.
