Grade Range: 2-5The Hand Writing Without Tears program teaches a clean, vertical style of cursive that promotes ease of learning and enjoyment of writing. Lessons include engaging and memorable activities for cursive mastery. The student will be able to immediately incorporate taught letters into words and sentences.
Course Expectations: The student will be required to show respect to the teacher at all times. Demonstration of a good attitude and work ethic is a requirement that will result in success in this class.
Teacher Provides: Teacher’s guide
Students Provide: Handwriting Without Tears Cursive Student Book (Grade 3) ($7.50)
Prerequisites: The student must have already mastered printed writing.
Workload: All work will be accomplished in the class. If a student falls behind, the work will need to be completed at home.
Instructor Background: My educational background is in the field of worksite health promotion. My interests include running, nutrition, and violin. I look forward to helping your child develop good writing habits as they master cursive writing.
