Are you looking for a Bible curriculum for your kids this school year? Would you like your kids to not only learn about scripture but to memorize them as well? Would you like an opportunity to have deep Biblical discussions at home with your kids regarding topics they may not be exposed to at church? If you say yes to all three, consider getting involved in Bible Quizzing! The class will offer 55 minutes of fun and friendly “mock competition” about scriptures learned and memorized over the week. We will have some fun discussions and clarifications about memorized material and quiz using game formats like King of the Hill, Tag Team Jumping, Individual Jumping/Free for All and Hot Potato.
This year, we will be studying and memorizing from the book of Acts using the ESV version.
Course Expectations and Workload:
Students will be formed into teams of 3 and will be expected to memorize 3 verses a day (15-30 minutes a day for Little League) 5 days a week. Parental involvement is key to making sure children not only memorize scripture but also understand what they are memorizing.
Pre-requisite: A desire to have fun and to learn how to compete in a Godly manner while fixing God’s words in their hearts and minds.
