From the NaNo website: National Novel Writing Month’s Young Writer’s Program provides kids and teens with a month-long creative experience that improves self-esteem, teaches perseverance, and radically alters their relationships with writing and literature.
Course Expectations: Students will be expected to complete workbook pages pertaining to the week’s lesson prior to the following week. During the month of November, students will additionally be expected to write on a regular basis, working toward their personal word goal.
Prerequisites: None.
Workload: Moderate to heavy.
